About the Hovermaster 4000

The entire project started years ago as an idea while rough camping in the Colorado wilderness. If you're out there long enough, sooner or later, anybody has to figure out how to deal with one of lifes necessities. While on that camping trip, I remembered as a kid, watching a telephone lineman shinny up a telephone pole using boot spurs while leaning back into a strap secured around himself and the pole. That strap device allowed that technician to work hands free.  

I had web strap in my backpack with a cam buckle on one end. I threw it around a tree, stepped into the loop, leaned back into the strap with my feet well out of “harms way” and enjoyed a moment of hands free solitude. Eureka! The idea for a lightweight, self contained camping device that assisted in asuming a comfortable position for men and women to feritilize the landscape was born.  



Now to come up with a name. The Sierra Seat company was founded and a California company was located to do the manufacturing. Yes, we are 100% made in the USA. Originally, our goal was to market to the gals in the great outdoors, because they generally have to assume the position 100% of the time. However, lets not leave the boys out, they can use a little help also. 

The Hovermaster 4000, a high tech sounding device, solving a low tech problem for men and women enjoying the great outdoors.  

By the way ladies, in the outdoor activity department only two devices were ever created specifically to help women enjoy an outdoor activity. Everything else is a 'guy device' sized down (if necessary) so you gals can use it. It's about time someone started thinking about YOU!
